Exploring the diminishing and increasing physical and metaphorical space between lovers, Jawbreaker records the performance of a couple simultaneously eating and sucking a single large jawbreaker candy. While eating the candy decreases the space between them, the sugar also makes them both physically sick and high. The video is multi-layered and interlaced to further emphasize this action. This piece investigates time, patience, and endurance with regards to intimacy in relationships.
